A team of staff from Jersey Water will be undertaking an unusual challenge on Sunday 22nd July 2012 and hoping to raise funds to support the Teenage Cancer Trust
Jersey Appeal.
The “Water Butt “challenge will see the pushing and pulling of one of Jersey Water’s large water butts from La Fregate to St Aubin’s by a team from Jersey Water . The butt will be filled with re-useable Jersey Water sports bottles filled with water and along the route these will be sold and donations will be collected, all monies collected will go to the Jersey Cancer Trust Jersey Appeal.
Hugo Willson from Jersey Water said, “This is a new and unusual challenge for the Jersey Water team to undertake but we are looking forward to taking it on and hope as many people as possible will support us along the route by either making a donation or buying a re-useable Jersey Water sports bottle. We want to raise as much money as we can for the Teenage Cancer Trust Jersey Appeal so it can continue to support islanders and their families when they need it.
The challenge starts at 11am at the La Fregate on Sunday 22nd July 2012.
