The role of the Senior Business Analyst will work with all areas of the Company from the operational teams managing the water network to corporate services managing our internal needs. Jersey Water has a broad range of projects across diverse technologies that all contribute to supplying water for our Island to thrive, today and every day. This role will support every function of the Company from water source to tap.

You will also need to demonstrate the following attributes:
- Have in depth knowledge of BA modelling tools and know which business analysis tools are most appropriate for the task at hand
- A focus on delivery, managing risks and continuous improvement
- Providing right-size governance to suit the process improvement and maintain a low bureaucratic approach
- An ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Leading workshops, facilitating meetings with stakeholders
- Commercial awareness to ensure the company is investing in solutions that create value for our customers and will contribute to the long-term sustainability of the Company
- Demonstratable knowledge and experience of LEAN tools and techniques
- Analytical thinker, problem solver and capable of delivering requirements with accuracy
- Experience of Agile, DevOps and Prince2 project delivery
What you do:
- Investigate and articulate business challenges and opportunities with a broad range of stakeholders
- Review existing business processes for efficiency savings and improved data analytics
- Work with the data analysts to ensure, where appropriate, new processes enable the business to make data driven decisions
- Support the Senior Project Manager in the development of the Portfolio Management Office and its ongoing running
- Provide assurance around the feasibility of proposed solutions at a strategic level
- Work with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions are considered holistically and impacts to departments are beneficial
- Assist business system owners in defining acceptance tests for new business processes and take responsibility for executing them
- Challenge stakeholder and supplier viewpoints to eliminate waste and create value
- Support the Company in achieving and sustaining performance excellence using LEAN techniques
