Jersey Water will be carrying out essential works in an area of St Helier over two consecutive weekends this month.
Starting this Sunday, the water utility will be working in Conway Street to renew existing water supplies. The works will take place during the daytime on Sunday 21 and Sunday 28 April, and on the evening of Monday 29 April.
To minimise disruption in the town centre, the road will be closed on both Sundays between 09:00 and 16:00, and from 19:00 on the Monday until Jersey Water has completed the work.
Diversion signs will be in place and all properties in the area have been given advanced notice.
Martin Skyba, Jersey Water’s Network Service Delivery Manager added:
“We always try to plan our works so they cause the least amount of disruption possible for residents and motorists, hence carrying out Conway Street’s works during these times. We thank the public for their patience and aim to get this work completed as quickly as possible.”
