Jersey Water has recently undergone reassessment for their Investors in People (IIP) accreditation and has been successful in retaining their Investors in People award and has also been awarded a silver standard of accreditation
Jersey Water first gained Investors in People in 2006. Reassessment is a requirement of any company post three years once an award has been made. A review was undertaken, for reassessment with Jersey’s Investors In People Advisor Jackie Barrett to ensure the awards criteria could still be reached, as the standard and criteria for accreditation has been changed in the last three years.
Howard Snowden, Managing Director of Jersey Water commented:
“I am delighted that we have been able to maintain our Investors in People Standard and also achieve a silver standard this time during our assessment. The award is a credit to all Jersey Water staff and is a reflection of their commitment and dedication to the company. As a company the reassessment has enabled us to continue to put in place and then review processes to give everyone a sense of ownership and a more clearly defined purpose within the Company.”
Jackie Barrett, Jersey Investors in People Advisor added:
“Jersey Water have a very friendly and supportive culture where both management and staff are committed to the Investors in People Framework, evidenced by them achieving the prestigious Silver award. The organisation has shown their dedication to ensuring equality and development opportunities are made available to their staff, and are always striving for continuous improvement. This Silver award is very much deserved.”
