19 June 2019 is National Refill Day, a UK-wide campaign whose aim is to reduce the use of single-use plastic and its destructive effects on our environment.
Jersey Water has posted a series of messages on our Facebook page to highlight the campaign and encourage the people of Jersey to dispense with single-use plastic bottles in favour of reusable and recyclable water bottles. The Refill campaign also encourages people to ask for free water refills of tap water from cafes, restaurants, businesses and public venues rather than buy and discard bottles of water. And not just today, but every day, as we look towards a plastic-free future.
