Jersey Water is inviting members of the Jersey farming community and members of the ‘Action for Cleaner Water’ group to visit its main treatment works. This invitation is exclusively for all Jersey Farmers and members of the group, ahead of a planned open day for the general public.
Jersey Water will provide a guided tour around the main water treatment works and show how it is controlled and monitored with an overview of some of the technology. Their water engineers will be guiding around the site and will explain how water is selected for treatment, the process to disinfect and condition water supplies before island wide distribution.
This is a great opportunity to come and find out more about the Island’s water supply, what Jersey Water are working on and ask us your questions. There are four sessions, each lasting around 60 minutes, Jersey Water will also provide refreshments on the day.
